Department of Youth and Sports
Since 1995, the Naftalan City Youth and Sports Authority has been in operation. The authority has four approved positions according to the staffing table, which includes the chief of the authority, deputy chief, chief accountant, and chief advisor.
The Naftalan City Children's Sports School, which operates under the authority, teaches chess, judo, football, volleyball, athletics, and Greco-Roman wrestling. The training is conducted at the city stadium and the sports equipment available at the school.
The authority's activities are geared towards the implementation of youth policy and the development of sports, in accordance with the approved work plan by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the head of the city Executive Power.
