The participants of the International Conference were in freed from the occupation territories
On October 09, 2022, as a continuation of the International Scientific and Practical Conference on "Naftalan – Source of Health and Tourism Synergy. New Realities in the Region", the conference participants first got acquainted with the unique Naftalan oil and received detailed information about the healing properties of Naftalan oil.
Subsequently, participants traveled to the liberated Suqovushan settlement in the Karabakh Economic Region and the village of Talish, where they became acquainted with the tourism potential of Suqovushan and witnessed the reconstruction and restoration work taking place in the area. They also visited the memorial complex dedicated to the Martyrs in the settlement and laid bouquets of flowers in their honor.
The utilization of the existing road infrastructure in the Naftalan-Talish-Suqovushan direction is considered a crucial factor in the development of tourism in the region. This road infrastructure will facilitate the journey of tourists coming to Suqovuşan, Naftalan and enable short-term tourist trips.
Furthermore, both foreign and domestic conference participants visited the Martyr family Qurbanovs in the Gashalti Garagoyunlu village during their visit.
It should be noted that the International Conference, which lasted for two days, was attended by representatives from six foreign countries and more than 100 participants in total.
