The interest of foreign tourists in Naftalan is growing every year
Today, the number of local and foreign tourists coming to Naftalan, which is an international tourism center, is increasing every year. The number of tourists visiting hotels and treatment centers operating in Naftalan, who have had their say in the field of medical tourism in Azerbaijan, has also increased in 2022.
Last year, about 40 thousand tourists were treated and rested in Naftalan. In them, more than seven thousand are foreign tourists from 42 countries. This is the highest indicator for the geography of foreign tourists visiting the regions after the capital. Citizens from the CIS countries, as well as those from Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United States of America, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Germany were among the first in the hotels and Treatment Centers. One of the factors affecting the increase in the number of people who have been treated in Naftalan is the fact that tourists who have been treated here in previous years have again chosen this healing center.
