Small and Medium Business Development Agency delegation visited Naftalan
In Naftalan city the working meeting was held between the Head of the City Executive power Vugar Novruzov and delegation of Center for Development of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) of Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) for presentation, analysis and preparation of preliminary feasibility study of promising investment projects in public-private partnership format by local Executive power authorities. Anar Salmanov, Director of the Center for PPP Development, and Hamlet Ismailov, Deputy Director of the Center, took part in the meeting on behalf of SMBDA.
The agenda of the business meeting included identification and implementation of effective investment projects between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency and Naftalan City Executive power.
The head of the city informed the entrepreneurs in detail about the tourism potential of the city, conditions created as a result of attention and care of our dear President Ilham Aliyev at Naftalan international tourism center. He also paid special attention to implementation of corresponding projects in tourism sphere covering one of the priority directions of non-oil sector in future and put forward proposals of local Executive authorities for projects in transport-logistic sector of tourism (hotels, trade, entertainment centers) in Naftalan city.
In his turn, Director of the Center noted that promising investment projects to be presented will be assessed through the prism of their investment attractiveness, as well as participation of small and medium businesses in the implementation of relevant projects, analyzed and put up for competition on financial and profit indicators for the short and long term periods.
