Sakura trees have been planted in Naftalan
After the visit of His Excellency Mr. Wada Chunichi, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Azerbaijan, to Naftalan city in 2022, the embassy presented Sakura trees to the city as a gift.
The Sakura trees, which are a symbol of friendship, were planted in various locations throughout Naftalan city.
It should be noted that there are restrictions on taking Sakura tree seeds or the tree itself out of the country where it originated, and they have been sent to a total of nine countries to strengthen global friendship and deepen relationships with other countries. It is a gratifying fact that Azerbaijan, including Naftalan city, has been included in the list of countries to which Sakura trees have been gifted, with the aim of strengthening universal friendship and further deepening relations with other countries.
