Professional holiday of prosecutor's office employees celebrated
An event was held to mark the 108th anniversary of the establishment of prosecution authorities in Azerbaijan and the Professional Holiday of Employees of the Prosecutor’s Office.
The event was attended by Mammadiya Mammadov, Head of Executive Power of Naftalan City, Kamran Mammadov, Prosecutor of Goranboy District; heads of law enforcement agencies; and employees of the Prosecutor’s Office.
The participants visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the founder and architect of the modern, independent Azerbaijani state, and paid their respects to the cherished memory of the great leader.
Opening the event with a speech, Mammadiya Mammadov, Head of Executive Power of Naftalan City , congratulated the employees of the Prosecutor’s Office and noted that, as a result of the legal reforms carried out under the leadership of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and his worthy successor, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan has been transformed into a modern state institution serving to safeguard national interests and the rule of law, as well as to ensure the reliable protection of human and citizens’ rights and freedoms.
In his speech, Kamran Mammadov, Prosecutor of Goranboy District, highlighted the reforms implemented in the prosecution system and provided information on the activities of employees of the Prosecutor’s Office.
