Police Day celebrated
The event was attended by the head of the Naftalan City Executive Power Vugar Novruzov, the head of the city police department, police colonel Zaur Badalov, police officers and veteran police officers.
First, the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was visited and his memory was remembered with respect.
At the event, the dear memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who died for the freedom of our land was commemorated with a minute's silence, and the National Anthem was played.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, the head of the police department, police colonel Zaur Badalov, congratulated the event participants on the occasion of July 2 - Azerbaijan Police Day, emphasizing the exceptional services of the Azerbaijan police in ensuring stability, fighting crime, creating public order and internal stability in our republic, and wishing them success in their difficult honorable work.
The head of the City Executive Power, Vugar Novruzov, looking at the glorious historical path of the Azerbaijan police, noted that the exceptional role of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its separate structures in maintaining peace in our country at a high level under the leadership of our Honorable President Mr. Ilham Aliyev is undeniable.
Then the congratulations of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov, were read to the personnel and veterans of the internal affairs bodies.
A group of employees of the city police department who distinguished themselves in their service were awarded with Honorary Decrees by the City Executive Power, and also a commemorative gift with the image of the genius engraved on the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader was presented by the City Executive Power.
