Opinion poll among foreign and local tourists was held in the summer season

In order to improve the quality of tourism services in Naftalan, an opinion poll was conducted in hotels and treatment centers with the organization and support of the Naftalan City Executive Power, and a report was prepared based on the answers received.

More than 100 local and foreign tourists who had rest and treatment in the city took part in the survey.

The purpose of the survey prepared in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages ​​is to improve the level of service in hotels and treatment centers and ensure tourist satisfaction. Also, this survey allows to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the city's tourism potential.

From the results of the survey, it was clear that Naftalan, which is an international tourism center today, made a good impression on local and foreign guests, and 94% of those who said they agreed with the level of service of tourist facilities. 59% said that summer season is suitable for the opinion "which season is suitable to relax". The results of the survey revealed that 45% of survey participants came for support movement, 31% for treatment of rheumatism, skin and urological diseases. Also, to the question "How many days do you plan to stay in Naftalan", 71% of the respondents said that they prefer to stay between 7-14 days. 86% of those who said they agree with the prices in hotels and treatment centers.

In general, it was clear from the results of the survey that today Naftalan made a good impression on local and foreign guests. So, 87% answered very good and good to the idea of ​​keeping the city's infrastructure, well-maintained, clean and tidy. At the same time, 83% of people confirmed "very good" and "good" in response to the opinion "How do you see Naftalan today compared to previous visits”.

36% of the foreign respondents who took part in the opinion poll came from the Russian Federation, 33% from Kazakhstan, 27% from Uzbekistan, 2% from Germany and 2% from Israel. 58% of guests came to Naftalan from foreign countries using Heydar Aliyev International Airport and Ganja International Airport. 42% were local guests from within the country.

In addition to expressing their satisfaction with the high level of service of the hotel where they received treatment, as well as the quality of the treatment, the participants of the survey expressed their satisfaction with increasing the level of foreign language skills of the staff, as well as with the presence of a shopping and entertainment center (MALL) in the city to spend their leisure time more efficiently, increasing tourist routes, ATMs in hotels and treatment centers, the importance of installing and increasing the types of services provided in some tourist facilities.
