June 15 – National Salvation day held in Naftalan
On the occasion of the National Liberation Day, June 15, an event was held in the city of Naftalan on the theme "The savior of our national statehood".
The event was attended by the head of the City Executive Power, the chairman of the NAP Naftalan city organization, the heads of law enforcement agencies, the chairman of the City Council of Elders, heads of departments, enterprises, organizations and city intellectuals.
The participants of the event visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and paid respect to the dear memory of the Great Leader.
Then, an exhibition of photographs was held in Heydar Aliyev Square, which includes the glorious life path of the National Leader and his incomparable services for the progress of our country.
At the event, the dear memory of the Great Leader and the children of the Motherland, who were martyred for the freedom of our lands, was commemorated with a minute's silence.
The speakers emphasized that the National Liberation Road, which started on June 15, 1993, gave Azerbaijan the opportunity to write the biggest victory in its history on November 8, 2020. It can be said with certainty that the people of Azerbaijan took the first steps on the way to November 8 on June 15, 1993. The path of the Azerbaijani nation from liberation to victory is also the history of its victory. It was also noted that the success and achievements of Azerbaijan thanks to the far-sighted, thoughtful and determined policy of our Honorable President give reason to say that the independent state inherited by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is in safe hands.
