II development and Exchange Program of non-governmental organizations is held in Naftalan
The opening event of the II Development and Exchange Program of NGOs, organized by the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations, was held in Naftalan.
Before the event, flowers were arranged in front of the monument of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and his soul was commemorated with great respect.
Aygun Aliyeva, Executive Director of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vugar Novruzov, The Head of Naftalan City Executive Power, participants representing non-governmental organizations, who passed the training competition, and media representatives took part in the event.
At the opening event, the head of the executive said in his speech that in the post-independence period, our country has made significant progress in many fields and is among the developed countries of the world, and the practical measures implemented by the President of the country, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, are of exceptional importance in the rise of civil society institutions to this level.
The Executive Director of the State Support Agency for NGOs emphasized in his speech that the II Development and Exchange Program of NGOs implemented by the Agency will be organized continuously. Emphasizing that these trainings will contribute to the further improvement of the skills of NGOs in the field of writing and managing projects, A. Aliyeva noted that 300 non-governmental organizations have registered for the program, and during the interview, 100 of them won the right to participate in the trainings. Other trainings are planned for organizations that cannot participate.
She also pointed out that increasing the knowledge and skills of NGOs is one of the tasks ahead.
