”Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani youth" event held
Within the framework of the ”Year of Heydar Aliyev", the Heydar Aliyev Center of Naftalan of the Ganja Regional Department of Culture, with the support of the Executive power of Naftalan, hosted the event "Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani Youth", dedicated to February 2 – Youth Day.
The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Executive power of Naftalan city, Chairman of the youth movement "Forward", Chairman of the Naftalan city organization of the Yeni Azerbaijan Party, head of the Youth and Sports Department of Naftalan city, Chairman of the Public Council under the Executive committee, representatives of intellectuals and youth.
First, the participants of the event paid tribute to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, also visiting the memorial complex in memory of martyrs.
The participants of the event examined exhibits reflecting the glorious life path of the national leader in the Heydar Aliyev Center.
At the event, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the children of the Motherland who became martyrs for the freedom of our lands.
The speakers stressed that the announcement of 2023 as the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in our country on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev is a significant event. Looking at the rich political legacy of the founder of independent Azerbaijan, the friend of the youth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, they told that the work done by the brilliant personality on youth policy was successfully continued by our Esteemed President, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
At the end of the event, a group of activists were awarded certificates of honor.
