Family of civilian martyrs visited
The head of the Naftalan City Executive Power, Vugar Novruzov, together with the chief of the city police department, Zaur Badalov, and the chairman of the city Council of Elders, Mohubbat Badalov, visited the families of civilian martyrs who tragically died during the Patriotic War.
The meeting discussed the Glorious Victory won in the Patriotic War, the courage and bravery of thousands of heroic sons of our people.
The head of the executive power was interested in the family's concerns and conveyed his sincere congratulations to the family members on the upcoming World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year's Day.
The martyr's family expressed their endless gratitude to our Honorable President, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and First Vice-President, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, for the high level of attention and care shown to them.
On September 27, the first day of the 44-day Patriotic War, five members of the Gurbanov family, including two children, lost their lives in the Gashalti Garagoyunlu village of Naftalan city as a result of an artillery shell fired by the invaders.
