Families of martyrs of the Patriotic War are visited
The head of the Executive power of the city of Naftalan and the head of the city police department visited the family of the first civil martyrs of the Patriotic War, the Gurbanovs.
Stressing that the liberation of our lands under the leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, which had been under enemy control for almost 30 years during the 44-day Patriotic War, is our just cause, the head of the Executive power said that with this victory, won by the bravery of the valiant children of our people, all our martyrs took revenge, their blood did not remain not avenged.
Taking care of the family, the head of the city conveyed sincere congratulations to the family members on the upcoming Day of Solidarity of the Azerbaijanis of the World and the celebration of the New Year. The family was presented with a festive gift.
Nadir Gurbanov expressed gratitude to the country's leadership for the high attention and care provided to his family.
It should be noted that on the first day of the 44-day Patriotic War, five members of the Gurbanov family, two of whom were children, were killed as a result of artillery shelling by Armenian vandals in the village of Gashalty Garagoyunlu in Naftalan.

He noted that the family of each martyr is dear, and taking care of them is a moral duty. It should be noted that on the eve of the holiday, thanks to the city Executive committee, the living conditions of the house where the family of the martyr lived were improved and household appliances were equipped. Also, a New Year's gift was presented to the children, and a festive gift was presented to the family.
The members of the family of the martyr expressed gratitude to our esteemed President, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the First Vice-President of the esteemed Mehriban Aliyeva for their sensitive attitude.
