The events held in Naftalan within the framework of Heydar Aliyev Year are continuing

In accordance with the relevant decree of our esteemed President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, declaring the year 2023 as "Heydar Aliyev Year" in our country, an event on the topic "Azerbaijan's state independence is absolute, unshakable and irreversible!" was organized in the city of Naftalan with the organization of the State Security Service.

The event was attended by the head of the Naftalan City Executive Power Vugar Novruzov, MPs Anar Mammadov, Ramin Mammadov, the head of the “YAP” Naftalan city organization, the head of the city Elders Council, leaders of law enforcement agencies, veterans of the Patriotic War, heads of institutions and organizations, and city residents.

The participants first visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, laid flower bouquets in front of the monument, and paid their respects to the dear memory of the Great Leader.

Then, the participants visited the Heydar Aliyev Center, where they had a look at the photo exhibitions reflecting the honorable life path of the National Leader and his unparalleled services for the development of our country. They also got acquainted with books, handicrafts, and paintings reflecting the life and activities of the Great Leader.

During the event, a moment of silence was observed in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our land and in the leadership of the Great Leader.

The head of the State Security Service made a speech, noting that the National Leader is a historical figure who has been transformed into a symbol of the national identity of the people. The most important achievement under the leadership of the National Leader is the independent state of Azerbaijan. Our people will continue to write new and glorious pages of their history under the leadership of our esteemed President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, who successfully continues the political course of the Great Leader.

The MPs who spoke at the event discussed the topic extensively, emphasizing that Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, is a great personality who has left a bright and indelible mark on world history, possessing extraordinary intelligence, natural talent, and wise state administration skills.

Other speakers spoke about the honorable life path, rich statesmanship heritage, and traditions of state administration of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
