"Constitution and the Foundation of Sovereignty: A Legacy for Future Generations"
A roundtable discussion on the topic "The Foundation of the Constitution and Sovereignty: Heritage for Future Generations" was held in accordance with the Action Plan of the Naftalan City Executive Power, jointly organized by the Naftalan City Executive Power and the Heydar Aliyev Center, in connection with the declaration of 2025 as the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event was attended by employees of the City Executive Power, law enforcement agencies, the chairmen of the Naftalan city organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, the City Council of Elders, heads of departments, enterprises, organizations, and young people.
First, the event participants viewed photo exhibits reflecting the glorious life path of the National Leader at the Heydar Aliyev Center, and got acquainted with an exhibition of photographs reflecting sovereignty and historical victory.
The speakers emphasized Heydar Aliyev's heritage in the fields of statehood, independence, and law, as well as his significant contributions to future generations of Azerbaijan. They also discussed how the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which was prepared directly under the leadership of the Great Leader and adopted on November 12, 1995, is based on protecting the sovereignty of our country and democratic principles. The exceptional services of the President of the country, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, in protecting these principles and ensuring the sustainability of a stable and independent state were widely emphasized. It was noted that the achievements and historical victories achieved under the leadership of the head of state are a triumph of Heydar Aliyev's ideas and wisdom.
