An event was held within the framework of the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty”
An event was held in connection with the declaration of 2025 as the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" in the Republic of Azerbaijan, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 28, 2024, organized by the Naftalan City Executive Power and the Naftalan Heydar Aliyev Center. The event was attended by employees of the City Executive Power, the chairmen of the Naftalan City Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, the city Council of Elders, heads of departments, enterprises and organizations, intellectuals and youth.
The speakers emphasized that the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, prepared under the direct leadership of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and adopted on November 12, 1995 plays an important legislative basis for the implementation of such lofty goals as protecting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state, building a legal, secular state, ensuring a decent standard of living for our citizens, and ensuring friendly and peaceful cooperation with countries of the world.
It was noted that the declaration of 2025 as the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty" in our country is a significant event that highlights the historical achievements of our country, the power of our Constitution, and the restoration of our full sovereignty, in connection with the 30th anniversary of the adoption of our Constitution and the 5th anniversary of our victory in the Patriotic War. This decision, in addition to once again demonstrating the strength and development of independent Azerbaijan, is an expression of the unity and solidarity of our people.
