An event on the theme "Heydar Aliyev is a great historical figure" was held
An event on the theme "Heydar Aliyev - A Great Historical Personality" was held, organized by the Naftalan City Executive Power and supported by the city's Heydar Aliyev Center.
The event was attended by responsible employees of the City Executive Power, chairmen of the Naftalan city organization of the New Azerbaijan Party and the city Council of Elders, heads of departments, enterprises, organizations, intellectuals, and youth.
First, the participants viewed photo exhibits reflecting the glorious life path of the National Leader at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
The dear memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence. A documentary film about the life and activities of the Great Leader was shown.
The speakers at the event noted that the rich and diverse heritage of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, who won immortality with his exceptional services to our people, is the national wealth of our people. The period when the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev led Azerbaijan became a glorious page in our millennia-long history of statehood. It was emphasized that the inexhaustible state management and talent of Heydar Aliyev, who possessed great political will and unshakable conviction, is a school for every Azerbaijani. Today, the state independence of the independent Republic of Azerbaijan, of which the National Leader is the architect and founder is in reliable hands.
It was noted that the development line determined by our Great Leader, Azerbaijan, which occupies a worthy place among the world's states and strengthens its position day by day, is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
The event continued with a composition titled "You Are Such a Summit" prepared by schoolchildren.
