The memory of Academician Zərifə khanum Aliyeva was respectfully commemorated
A ceremony was held on the occasion of the anniversary of the distinguished ophthalmologist-scientist and public figure, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, who made unparalleled contributions to the Azerbaijani medical science. The ceremony was organized by the Executive Power of Naftalan City and the Public Legal Entity of the City Central Hospital.
The event was attended by the deputy and colleagues of Naftalan City Central Hospital, the director of the Public Legal Entity, the head of the "YAP" Naftalan City organization, medical workers, and guests. Participants of the ceremony expressed their deep respect and reverence for the dear memory of Zarifa Aliyeva by observing a moment of silence.
The speakers emphasized the significant and honorable life path of Zarifa Aliyeva, a prominent figure in Azerbaijan's medical community, who made indelible marks in the history of medicine with her rich scientific heritage, professional and public activities. They highlighted her noble intentions, benevolent deeds, and great achievements for the benefit of the country, which earned her eternal gratitude. It was also noted that Zarifa Aliyeva, as a caring mother and faithful life partner, has created an ideal image of a true Azerbaijani woman with all human qualities, and will always live in our hearts.
Finally, a film dedicated to Zarifa Aliyeva’s scientific activity was shown.
