A meeting was held with members of the city Council of Elders
The head of the Executive Power of the city of Naftalan met with the elders and intellectuals of the city. During the meeting, the head of the city noted that the word elder has historically been treated with respect and reverence in Azerbaijan. The national Leader of our people has always treated the elders with deep respect and care. Currently, this wonderful tradition is being successfully continued by our esteemed President, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Today, valuable elders and intellectuals take an active part in the socio-political life of our country, working for the sake of progress, the rise of our Motherland. They adequately cope with the tasks assigned to them of educating teenagers and young people in the spirit of patriotism, respect for our national and spiritual values. Widely informing about the work done on the territory of the city, about the ongoing landscaping and construction activities, the speaker informed the elders about the upcoming tasks.
Chairman of the city Council of Elders Mukhubbat Badalov and other representatives of the intelligentsia who spoke on behalf of the elders and intelligentsia expressed deep gratitude to the President of the country, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, who, on behalf of the elders and intelligentsia, made progressive steps towards the implementation of works on the improvement of the city, improving the welfare of the population. They noted that our main task is to educate modern youth in a healthy spirit, guide them on the right path, actively participate in solving issues of concern to our society, and support the policy pursued by our state. Then the meeting was continued in the form of a discussion.
