Council meeting was held under the head of the city Executive Power
The next meeting of the Council dedicated to the results of the socio-economic development of the first half of 2023 and the tasks ahead was held under the Head of Naftalan City Executive Power.
The meeting was attended by the head of the City Executive Power, council members, heads of law enforcement agencies, departments, enterprises and organizations, executive representatives and mayors.
Opening the meeting with an introductory speech, the head of the City Executive Power brought the issues on the agenda to the attention of the council members and participants, and stated that the successful economic reforms implemented by the Honorable President Mr. Ilham Aliyev had a positive impact on the development of the resort city of Naftalan in all areas. In general, in recent years, great success has been achieved in the expansion of the improvement and construction works carried out in the city in accordance with the tasks of the head of the country, in the implementation of important social projects and, most importantly, in the development of tourism, and positive dynamics have been observed in macroeconomic indicators.
In the city of Naftalan, the report of the Deputy Head of the City Executive Power, Kamala Huseynova, was heard about the results of socio-economic development in the first half of 2023 and the tasks ahead. In addition, Saleh Tagiyev, the head of the Finance Department in the city of Naftalan, spoke academically about the execution of the city's local budget for the first half of 2023,Khayal Mammadov, the director of the Goranboy-Naftalan Education Sector, addressed the general education, extracurricular, and in-school educational institutions in Naftalan regarding the activities carried out during the academic year 2022-2023.
Later, discussions were held on the issues brought up for discussion by the Council, and relevant tasks were given regarding the elimination of deficiencies and the solution of the envisaged issues.
