A blood donation campaign was held
The second voluntary blood donation campaign was held this year at Naftalan City Central Hospital.
Hematologists from the specialized medical team of the Central Blood Bank informed the campaign participants about the benefits of blood donation. After each donor underwent a medical examination, a blood test was taken and an opinion was given on their participation in the campaign.
The head of the City Executive Power, the chief of the City Police Department, employees of departments, enterprises, organizations, hotels and treatment centers operating in the city, and volunteers participated in the action and supported the enrichment of the reserve blood bank.
The campaign, which is of great importance as a humanistic step, aims to help our citizens suffering from hereditary blood diseases.
The campaign was organized by the Naftalan City Executive Power and implemented by the National Hematology and Transfusion Center of the Ministry of Health.
