The Day of Memorial day of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was celebrated in Naftalan

A citywide event was held in Naftalan on the 16th anniversary of the death of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The event was attended by the head of the Naftalan City Executive Power, Mr. Vugar Novruzov, officials of the City Executive Power, heads and representatives of departments, enterprises, organizations, law enforcement agencies, as well as the city community. Participants of the event first visited the monument to the great leader and laid flowers at the monument to the great leader. Then they visited the Heydar Aliyev Center and got acquainted with the photo stands reflecting the life and political activity of the Great Leader. Naftalan City I.Nasimi High School No. 1 students performed a composition entitled "Always Live Genius". As part of the commemorative event, a table of alms was opened for the families of martyrs and low-income families in memory of the great leader. At the ceremony, the mayor spoke in detail about the glorious life and activities of the national leader, the projects implemented by his worthy successor, President Ilham Aliyev, to implement the ideas and political course of the genius, to strengthen and further develop our country. The participants spoke about the great leader Heydar Aliyev's unparalleled services to the history and statehood of Azerbaijan, and asked God to bless him.
