National Leader Heydar Aliyev's Memorial Day was held in Naftalan
The 17th anniversary of the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev was celebrated in Naftalan. The event was attended by the head of the Naftalan City Executive Power Vugar Novruzov, heads of law enforcement agencies, officials of the Executive Power, heads of departments, enterprises and representatives.The head of the Naftalan City Executive Power, heads of law enforcement agencies and officials of the Executive Power together visited the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, laid flowers in front of it and paid tribute to his spirit.The commemorative event continued in video conference format. The event commemorated the memory of the Great Leader with a minute of silence.Opening the conference with introductory word, Naftalan Head Vugar Novruzov spoke about the glorious life and activities of the national leader, his worthy successor, President Ilham Aliyev, the implementation of the ideas and political course of the genius, the strengthening and further development of our country.Then the participants spoke about the great leader Heydar Aliyev's unparalleled services to the history and statehood of Azerbaijan.
