Tourists visiting Naftalan will be able to visit our historical Karabakh in the near future on a new road

The roads leading to Sugovushan and Talysh villages were built in the 1970s on the instructions of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in connection with the construction of the Sugovushan Reservoir. At present, large-scale construction work is underway to restore the historic road to the liberated settlements.AAYDA has started asphalting the roads leading to Sugovushan and Talysh villages of Tartar region. The total length of 28.5 km of roads is being restored in accordance with 2 technical categories. The width of the asphalt-concrete pavement of the road, which consists of two wide lanes, is 9 meters.It is also planned to build a new 22.5-kilometer road from the village of Talysh to the village of Gashalti Garagoyunlu, passing through the village of Tap Garagoyunlu. With the connection of these roads, it will be possible to move in this direction from the city of Naftalan. Thus, local and foreign tourists visiting Naftalan will be able to visit our liberated lands, the ancient land of Azerbaijan, Karabakh. This will give a clear impetus to the development of eco and agro tourism.
